There are many different options for jig costumes...

...from a simple skirt with a cumberbund and a peasant blouse

...or a plain red or green jig dress

...or a pinafore style dress

...or a pinafore style dress with a fake lace up front

There are many different combinations available.

This is a basic jig dress available in either red or green, it has a round neck, sleeves to the elbow, fully gathered skirt, and zipper in the back.  It is made from polyester/cotton. 

As in the photo, this dress can also have the skirt lined in the opposite colour.

This dress can be worn with just an apron, or also with a cumberbund as shown.

This pinafore style jig dress has a fake lace-up front for decoration.  The skirt is lined with green for a bit of 'flash' while dancing.

Bib front on this dress is adjustable as your dancer grows,  and there is growth room both in the waist as well as the hem.  In a lined skirt, the maximum hem is 3", but in an unlined skirt it can be more.

The skirt has a velcro and button closure, and can be used without the bib front as well

Fully gathered skirt with a velcro closure.  Available in red or green.  Made from polyester/cotton.

This skirt can be worn with a peasant blouse and an apron, or you can also add a cumberbund for a splash of contrasting colour.

Another option available is to have the skirt lined in the opposite colour, as shown below.

Fully reversible jig skirt, can be worn with either colour showing. 

Made from polyester/cotton, and has a velcro closure.

Reversible jig vest can be worn with either colour showing. 

Made from polyester/cotton, fully interfaced, front opening has boning, eyelet closure, with ribbon tie.

This vest is worn with the jig skirt and apron for a complete 'dress' like look, but with the versatility of colour changes.

Shown here with the red side out and green skirt, worn with a national blouse.

Another option is a petal style vest (much like an Aboyne vest) with a fake lace-up look front.  This vest is zippered up the back.

Made from 100% cotton velvet, fully interfaced, boned down the front, and with a poly/cotton lining.

Peasant blouses are made from a polyester/cotton blend.  They have an elastic neckline, and sleeves.

These blouses can be worn with either the Jig or the Aboyne costume.

This is a basic jig apron made from polyester/cotton with a ruffled lace edge. 

There are a few options for jig aprons....they can be made rounded like this one, only made from cotton eyelet with an eyelet ruffle...or they can be squared made with a border eyelet.

To add a splash of colour to your jig costume, you can wear a cumberbund with your jig skirt.

The cumberbund has an eyelet closure with your choice of tie...can be black, red, or green.
